I HATED this film. What a waste of tape stock. Just pure evil. I wish I had never watched it but wanted to get some payoff at the end and nothing! Do we really need to know that there are sick psychotics out there. Ya, it might be fictional but good chance this has happened somewhere to someone. Just pure evil. Saw it months ago and still plagued by it. Won't be going to any remote vacation spots that's for sure. Just sick. If you love your children and your spouse DON'T WATCH THIS FILM or be scarred for life.

I've never seen the original but I don't have to see it to know that it can't possibly be as terrifying as this one. Avoid if you're sensitive.
