As Halloween is on a Saturday there's lots of parties with a witchy twist, the problem is choosing where to show off your costume. And dressing up isn't just for fun. Pin on your devil horns for Halloween at Oxford clubs and you could come away with a prize.

Witches Hair
At The Cellar you can join Big Hair for their Witches Hallows Eve Party with a mix of indie, rock and alternative. As with all parties for Halloween at Oxford clubs, fancy dress is part of the fun and there are prizes for the best costume. DJs will also be playing rock, pop, indie and 80s.

Nightmare
Celebrating Halloween at Oxford clubs doesn't mean you have to spend the evening doing your best Michael Jackson Thriller routine, but you will have to get your tickets early. At the O2 you can get your fix of reggae, ska, hip hop, dancehall and house with The Nightmare Before Halloween. There are sets from The Nextmen, The Delegators and Count Voodoo.

Thriller Therapy
There are even more Halloween events at O2 with the Therapy? Halloween party followed by Thriller - A Trashy 1980s Halloween Special. Expect dressing up, creepy decor and lots of Halloween high jinx. Wannabe Johnny Depps should head to the Purple Turtle for their Halloween Pirate Party. This is well worth dressing up for as the best dressed wins a guest list for six months and a bottle of wine. There’ll be live bands followed by DJs playing indie, rock, hip hop, soul and funk.

The Dreem Team
Over at The Regal they have the former Radio 1 presenters - the Dreem Team with Spoony, Mikee B and Timmi Magic. There's live PA of My Love and Things We Do Love by Kele Le Roc. And as with every other party for Halloween at Oxford clubs, fancy dress is de rigueur, plus there'll be CD giveaways.
