Very much a locals' pub. If you walk in and you are not a regular, the customers will glare at you - outsiders are not welcome.
Once, on a fine summer day when many of the customers were outside and those inside were in a good mood, I braved it to the bar and bought a half of bitter. It was most of the way to vinegar.
A favourite with my husband. I have to drag him away most sundays as they always have a little get together, him and the beer that is!!!
