Have been there twice in the past fortnight,and enjoyed it both times. Food decent, and a sensible price; friendly staff; comfortable. Didn't feel at all rushed, nor pushed into having a pudding or coffee if I didn't want one. So, a relaxing place, which I'll be back to soon.

For the last few weeks there as been a fast word about how the triggerpond as change with a new menu and great specials new managers. So i thought i would pop to see whats all the fuss was about. With there new pub classic menu and fresh fish Fridays i can`t get enough of the place. great clean pub, great outside and amazing staff, I would just like to say well done to the new two managers and i can`t wait to see them next week for so great food cheers guys

Hi, my name is simon and I live about 5min away from the triggerpond pub, Since I have stared to go back in the pub in the last 2months or so I must say the turn around is out of this the world. From there great sandwich`s to there lovely fresh home cooked classic pub grub. With a wide range of great real ales and there new fish friday menu I would recommend it to everybody I know.

very poor

half full Mayonnaise bottles etc sat in full sun for 3 hours only to re-appear on tables tomorrow......

Food poisoning epedamic waiting to happen imho

Hello, I am one of the 'new people' and have now been at the Trigger Pond for 2 months. May I just say that we have not received any complaints regarding food poisoning. If you had experienced an issue and had raised it with either myself or husband we would have acted on it immediately.

Also seeing as you put 2 reviews on here on the same day, within minutes of each other, claiming we had poisoned you or someone you know, it is difficult to believe that we caused the alleged food poisoning as it has an incubation period of 12 hours and also should be confirmed by a doctor as to what actually caused the problem.

Used this place a couple of times, however the more we went the worse the service became. It would seem that a first time user gets great service and from then on it all goes wrong!!

new people only been in for 2-3 weeks and already poisoning people!
