I have been coming to this pub for 30+ years, and love it. Great atmosphere! Last time I went it was pouring rain and, needless to say, I didn't want to get wet. I did the next best thing, drank and ate. The food is really quite good -- not your usual pub food. Service is friendly. Can't wait until next time!
Good pub. Pros - Loads of outside space - Loads of character - Friendly staff - Serves booze Pros/cons depending on who you are - Difficult to find!- In summer there are crowds of students celebrating the end of exams - A few tourists although many get lost trying to find it - Low ceiling / doorways Cons - You can sometimes wait at the bar but if it's not totally packed it's worth waitingother info- Serves food but I've never eaten there.
