I have eaten here many a time. Yes, the staff can be rude, but at least the pub looks nice. However, after last night, we shall not go back.

They had to visit the table 4 times to change things for not having what we had ordered. Then when the food arrived it was not good.

The muscles were clearly low quality, gritty and of varying flavour. The dressed crab had obviously gone wrong, so had been mutilated and mixed with cheese then baked till death. Full of bits of shell! Someone also early broke a tooth on a salad!

This restaurant was terrible. The land lady is very rude. It isn't child friendly she tried to get me to clear up as I took my 17 month child with me to meet 2 friends and tried handing me a dust pan and brush, she said its not my job, she told us not to come back, very rude and unwelcoming. I would never recommend this place to anyone especially people who have children!!!

You can tell why this pub is so popular its is beautful looking, traditional and the food never fails to impress me!
