We arevery disappointed after a previous visit some time back when we had a terrific evening.
The table we sat at this time had in the window a fly dirt stained shade & a base that was food encrusted & mouldy. We ordered our food which was served to find a long hair inside & hanging out of the omelette, this was changed. My wifes glass, which had white wine in, still had red wine staining the bottom.
We were not offered any recompence, apart for an earlier sorry, for this when paying & after singing the pubs praises to all, this awaited second visit will be our last.
Superb selection of wines at the Boot. Love coming here on my day just for a few glasses by myself just to unwind and recharge the batteries.
