As the daughter of a mad fisherman I think i know a bit about spotting fresh quality fish.
Not as much as these guys - following the fish mantra "keep it simple" Fishers chefs' leave out the nonsense and let the fish be the stars.
I had whole seabass just laced with thyme & garlic and a drizzle of some kind of flavoured olive oil - it was so sublime i went quiet for 20 minutes (unheard of usually).
There were all sorts on the menu; fresh picked Cromer Crab, the most chunky King scallops i have ever seen, wild turbot and cornish lemon soles... we thought we'd been quite healthy so we pigged out on dessert - chocolate fondue with fruit and marshmallows - full on heaven.
This place is busy - if you're gonna go then book up first - there were parties, romantic couples, families, students all looked after by cool confident staff (they actually knew what they were talking about!)
Going back soon....
Definatley one of the best fish restaurants i have been to. Simple yet delicious and so fresh!
