not a great place, narrow and uncomfortable for watching matches. unless your one of the few who get in early and nab a couch, then your standing amongst a line of viewers all in each others way and constantly moving to let peasants to the bar. food is meh. the whole place is overly expensive and reserves a slightly awkward air of arrogance for itself that can be justified in no way. nothing special apart from its odd reputation most probably spread by themselves. opens late though and at least does play matches.
Overrated establishment with arrogant, unfriendly staff. For what is essentially a cheap 'shooters on a night out' bar, this place has a completely undeserved reputation.
Terrible atmosphere, overpriced drinks and they couldn't pull a decent pint of Fullers if they tried (which they don't).
Avoid at all costs.
Does what it says on the tin, an escape from the hustle and busy of the City. Went with a group of four on Friday night and couldn't believe this place stays open until 3am at the weekends!! Definitely a great alternative to the dire nightclubs around Oxford. Haven't yet tried the food but the cocktails hit the spot!! Plus the bar girl was absolutely stunning and even had a shot with us! Garden was well lit and really fun with the tiki feel.
