Absolutely wonderful service and food. It's rare to visit a restaurant and be greeted like long long friends with everyone's drink preference remembered and a whisper to our son that the chef has been told that James is in so could he make sure there are ribs on the mixed starter. Apart from a couple of birthday celebrations it's Sunday lunch which draws us over to Chipping Norton. There's a set menu but we have never been disappointed and it's simply amazing value for money. The only problem is that it's a little too far from Oxford for us to go every Sunday.
